Just a quick rundown on how the depth chart is shaping up for the Oilers' offseason.
(In my eyes, anyway)

Hall-Horcoff-Eberle
Paajarvi-Belanger-Jones
Eager-Lander-Hordichuk
Omark Brule NugentHopkins

Whitney Gilbert
Smid Barker
Sutton Petry
Peckham

Dubnyk
Khabibulin

Trade Bait: (Potentially) Omark, Hemsky, Brule, Gagner, Smid, Khabibulin.

OKC
Green-Petrell-Keller
Hartikainen-O'Marra-Arcobello
Hamilton-Pitlick-House
Tyrvainen-Vandevelde-Abney
Tremblay Kyntar Cornet

Helmer Potter
Chorney Teubert
Marincin Plante
Fedun Motin

Danis
LeNeveu

Synopsis: Eric Belanger helps solidify the center position that has long been a weakness and helps establish a fortified checking line. Eager and Hordichuk add to the functional toughness of the Oilers, players that will initiate physicality. The addition of Cam Barker is one of risk/reward. It's worth the gamble, at best you have a player, at worst, he'll move along at the end of the year. The addition of Andy Sutton is one of depth. A big dude that will terrorize smaller speedy forwards, he'll win some of those battles and he'll lose some of those battles. The addition of Corey Potter is to help out OKC, if injuries occur, he might get a look, much like Shawn Belle did last year. Even though Hartikainen and Lander are both now pegged for OKC, I don't think they will be there long. They have better skill sets than some of the current Oilers have, I expect more moves to be made.

I will edit this thread throughout the month as more moves shakedown.
