Teubert is out for the rest of the tourney with a broken nose. He had it broken in a fight on Wednesday with Adam Polusek of the Canucks squad. Likely to get our first look at players such as Pitlick, Rajala, Davidson, Blain and Bunz.
One thing I have noticed about this years Oilers rookies is the amount of prospects the Oilers have with better all around games. Players that can play a variety of roles on a different amount of lines. This bodes well for the future. The current Oilers team has the the high end talent, it just lacks depth....well, the depth is coming, especially at forward.
The Jets rookies should pose more of a battle than the Canucks rookies did. Mark Scheifele is a stick wizard on the other side, so the defense will get a better test.
